going gaga for GALA

GALA curios, by the very talented sydney based designer Jasmine O'Loughlin, creates beautifully crafted pieces of jewelry, which are based aroud a concept or story. The bieces are unique, innovative and meaningful, and i just love them all!!!!

I've posted some photos below of the 'Ancient Future' collection, which plays with the concept of timelessness by using vintage textiles (ropes and laces) and covering them in fine layers of nickel, 24 caret gold and various lacquers and modern textiles. thus fusing the old with the new. i'm also loving the most recent collection to be released 'Into the Fold', i'll post this collection and some of my other current fav collections very soon!
